Frequently Asked Questions
I have never trained in nails before. Can I still enrol?
Yes. Our beginner acrylic courses are designed for students with no previous professional nail training. You must be at least 16 years old to enrol. Existing nail technicians who want to strengthen their knowledge and technique are also welcome.
What if I learn more slowly than the other students?
You are not expected to master everything immediately. Group courses are limited to a maximum of four students, allowing time for questions, guided practice and individual feedback. One-to-one training is also available if you would prefer education tailored completely to your pace and learning needs.
Is three days enough to learn acrylic nails?
The Fast-Track programme provides three focused days of professional training, followed by independent practice and case-study work. If you would benefit from more time between sessions to practise, reflect and develop your confidence, the six-day Intensive programme may be more suitable.
Are the courses accredited?
Yes. All four beginner acrylic course formats are fully accredited. To complete your qualification, you must meet the required standard across the course assessments, including the theory assessment, practical assessment and two case studies.
Will I know what to do after completing the classroom training?
You will leave with a clear understanding of the techniques, professional standards and next steps required to continue developing. Training also covers business, client experience and mindset, helping you understand how to move beyond learning the treatment and begin building professionally.
What support will I receive after the course?
Students receive personalised feedback and continued guidance while completing their required case studies. You will also have access to relevant course information, learning instructions and Academy communication to support your continued development beyond the classroom.
Can I pay a deposit to secure my place?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit secures your chosen course and date, with the remaining balance payable separately. The exact deposit, outstanding balance and payment requirements are clearly displayed for each course before booking.
Will completing the course make me immediately successful?
A qualification provides the professional foundation, but building skill, confidence and a sustainable business requires continued practice, discipline and consistent action. Naomi’s Beauty Academy equips you with technical education, commercial understanding and professional mindset, but your long-term progress will depend on how you apply what you have learned.
