I am Naomi, the founder and educator behind Naomi’s Beauty Academy and Naomi’s Beauty Bar.

My early development within the beauty industry was almost entirely self taught. I learned through observation, experimentation, consistent practice and the determination to keep improving. Although there was endless technical content available online, there was very little structured guidance on how to turn a skill into a professional, sustainable business.

I had to independently learn how to price my services, establish boundaries, attract and retain clients, build a recognisable brand and deliver a premium customer experience. Alongside that came the personal challenges of comparison, self doubt and learning to recognise my own value. I was developing the skill, the business and the mindset at the same time, but without a clear roadmap or the support of someone who had already navigated that process.

Through building Naomi’s Beauty Bar, I realised that many aspiring professionals were facing the same problem. They were being taught how to provide a treatment, but not necessarily how to think like a business owner, build with intention or create sustainable success beyond gaining a qualification.

Naomi’s Beauty Academy was created to provide the wider education and professional guidance I did not have. My experience shaped an approach that brings together technical ability, commercial understanding and mindset, giving students a more complete foundation from which to build.
